Android phones do not all display the ICCID in the same place, and some do not expose it in settings at all. Before following a menu path, check your model and software version. A missing field does not by itself mean the SIM is faulty.
An ICCID identifies a physical SIM or an eSIM profile. Moving the same physical SIM between phones does not give it a new identifier. For multiple SIMs, confirm which line you are inspecting.
On iPhone, Apple's guide lists Settings > General > About. Android menus vary by manufacturer, software, and carrier.
There is no universal dialer code recommended here. Hidden testing menus vary and are not a dependable way to retrieve the ICCID. Do not change radio settings or reset the phone just to find a serial number.
Samsung documents Settings > About phone > Status information > SIM card status for ICCID information with a SIM inserted. Labels and availability can differ on your model.
If several lines are listed, check the intended SIM. If ICCID is missing, use the carrier record rather than assuming a different number on that screen is equivalent.
Google's identifier guide covers IMEI and EID; it does not promise an ICCID field. EID is not a substitute for ICCID.
Inspect your own SIM information screen for an explicitly labeled ICCID. If it is unavailable, ask the carrier for the installed plan's identifier. Do not delete and reinstall an eSIM merely to reveal it.
Do not assume a MIUI menu path applies to every Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO model, or to HyperOS. Search settings first, then consult the manual for your exact model if the serial-number field is absent.
Check the selected SIM's information if your ColorOS version exposes it. Seeing a phone number or network name alone is not the same as finding the ICCID; use the carrier's record if no serial number is shown.
Availability depends on the model and software. Rather than relying on a fixed menu sequence, search settings and check the device's own help. The original SIM packaging or carrier support is the fallback.
Compare it with the correct line's record before an activation or replacement request. The pre-activation checklist covers copying errors and what to prepare for support. A checksum can detect some errors, but it cannot confirm activation or ownership. Redact the full number before sharing screenshots publicly.
